425 - الَّذينَ لا يُحِبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ‏

425. Those That Allah Does Not Like

(وَقاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ) .¹

"Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress. Indeed Allah does not like transgressors." ²

(وَاللَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ) .³

"And Allah does not like the agents of corrupttion." ⁴

(إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ) .⁵

"Indeed Allah does not like the wasteful." ⁶

(إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ) .⁷

"Indeed He does not like the arrogant." ⁸

424 - الَّذينَ يُحِبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ‏

424. Those Whom Allah Loves

(إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ) .¹

"Indeed Allah loves the virtuous." ²

(إِنَ‏اللَّهَ يُحِبُ‏التَّوّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ).³

"Indeed Allah loves the penitent and He loves those who keep clean." ⁴

(بَلَى‏ مَنْ أَوْفَى‏ بِعَهْدِهِ وَاتَّقَى‏ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ) .⁵

"Yes, whoever fulfils his commitments and is wary of Allah-Allah indeed loves the Godwary." ⁶

(وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصّابِرِينَ) .⁷

"And Allah loves the steadfast." ⁸

(إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ) .⁹

"Indeed Allah loves those who trust in Him." ¹⁰

(إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ) .¹¹

"Indeed Allah loves the just." ¹²

(إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ صَفّاً كَأَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوصٌ) .¹³

"Indeed Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks, as if they were a compact structure." ¹⁴

1328.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : إنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الحَيِيَّ الحَليمَ العَفيفَ المُتَعفِّفَ .¹⁵

1328.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Indeed Allah loves the bashful, clement, chaste and virtuous servant.' ¹⁶

1329.الإمامُ زينُ العابدينَ عليه السلام : إنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ كُلَ‏قَلبٍ حَزينٍ ، ويُحِبُّ كُلَّ عبدٍ شَكورٍ .¹⁷

1329. Imam Zayn al-Abidin (AS) said, 'Indeed Allah loves every sorrowful heart and loves every grateful servant.' ¹⁸

1330.الإمامُ الباقرُ عليه السلام : إنّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُداعِبَ في‏الجَماعةِ بلا رَفَثٍ ، المتوحِّدَ بالفِكْرَةِ ، المُتَحَلّيَ بالصّبرِ ، المُتَباهيَ بالصَّلاةِ .¹⁹

1330.Imam al-Baqir (AS) said, 'Allah loves the one who is jolly among people without being obscene, is monotheistic in his thought, adorned by patience, and priding himself with the prayer.' ²⁰
