420. The Blindness of Love [from Perceiving the Truth]
1317.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : حُبُّكَ للشَّيْء يُعْمي ويُصِمُّ .1
1317.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Your love for a particular thing makes you blind and deaf.' 2
1318.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : عَينُ المُحِبّ عَمِيَةٌ عنمَعايِبِ المَحبوبِ ، واُذُنُه صَمّاءُ عَن قُبْحِ مَساوِيهِ .3
1318.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'The lover's eye is blind to the defects of the beloved, and his ear is deaf to the ugliness of his misdeeds.' 4
