356 - جَمالُ الباطِنِ‏

356. Inner Beauty

1131.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : الجَمالُ في اللِّسانِ .¹

1131.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Beauty is in the tongue.' ²

1132.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : لا جَمالَ أحْسَنُ مِن العَقلِ .³

1132.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'There is no beauty better than the intellect.' ⁴

1133.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : لا لِباسَ أجْمَلُ مِن العافِيَةِ .⁵

1133.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'There is no clothing more beautiful than good health.' ⁶

1134.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : إنَّ اللَّهَ عزّوجلّ (جَعَلَ) صُورَةَ المَرأةِ في وَجهِها ، وصُورةَ الرّجُلِ في مَنطِقهِ .⁷

1134.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Allah, the Exalted, placed the beauty of woman in her face and of man in his speech.' ⁸

1135.الإمامُ العسكريُّ عليه السلام : حُسنُ الصُّورةِ جَمالٌ ظاهِرٌ ، وحُسنُ العَقلِ جَمالٌ باطِنٌ .⁹

1135.Imam al-Askari (AS) said, 'Physical beauty is the outer beauty, and the beauty of the intellect is inner beauty.' ¹⁰
