IQNA’s branch in East Asia reported that the exhibition will be opened on May 14 with the participation of Hojat-ol-Islam Mahdavipur, representative of the Supreme Leader in India.
Mahdi Hasankhani, in charge of the Iranian Cultural Center in Mumbai, said that some 50 artworks including tableaus of calligraphy and painting by Iranian artists will be put on display at the exhibition.
Photos of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine, as well as books, posters and postal cards will also be among the works to be presented at the exhibition.
Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad District will host the exhibition for one week.
The art museum is one of the three National Museums of India which has a famous Quran collection from around the world in different fonts and designs, the Quran written with gold and silver and many more collections of religious books, as well as Arabic copies of the Holy Quran.
