465. The Soundness of the Tradition and Its Agreement with the Qur'an
1423.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : اعرِضوا حَديثي على كِتابِ اللَّهِ ، فإنْ وافَقَهُ فهُو مِنّي وأنا قُلتُهُ .1
1423.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Compare my tradition with the Book of Allah. If it corresponds with it, then it is from me and I have indeed said it.' 2
1424.الإمامُ الصّادقُ عليه السلام : ما لَم يُوافِقْ مِن الحَديثِ القُرآنَ فهُو زُخْرُفٌ .3
1424.Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'The traditions that do not correspond with the Qur'an are false.' 4
