1868. EXPLANATION OF GODWARINESS
6680.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : تَمامُ التَّقوى أن تَتَعلَّمَ ما جَهِلتَ وتَعمَلَ بِما عَلِمتَ .1
6680.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The completion of Godwariness is that you learn what you do not know and you act upon what you do know.' 2
6681.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : التَّقوى أن يَتَّقِيَ المَرءُ كُلَّ ما يُؤثِمُهُ .3
6681.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Godwariness is that a person is wary of everything that tempts him into sin.' 4
6682.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : مَن مَلَكَ شَهوَتَهُ كانَ تَقِيّاً .5
6682.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'He who controls his desire is Godwary.' 6
6683.الإمامُ الصّادقُ عليه السلام - لَمّا سُئلَ عَن تَفسيرِ التَّقوى - : أن لا يَفقِدَكَ اللَّهُ حَيثُ أمَرَكَ ، ولا يَراكَ حَيثُ نَهاكَ .7
6683. Imam al-Sadiq (AS), when asked about the interpretation of Godwariness, said, 'That Allah does not miss you where He has commanded you and does not see you where He has prohibited you.' 8
6684.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : لا يَغُرَّنَّكَ بُكاؤهُم ، إنّما التَّقوى في القَلبِ .9
6684.Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'The crying of people should not deceive you; indeed Godwariness is in the heart.' 10
