403 - أشَدُّ النّاسِ عَذاباً

403. The People with the Greatest Chastisement

1274.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : أشدُّ النّاسِ عَذاباً يَومَ القيامةِ عالِمٌ لم يَنفَعْهُ عِلمُهُ .1

1274.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The person to experience the greatest pain on the Day of Resurrection will be the scholar who did not benefit from his own knowledge.' 2

1275.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : أشدُّ النّاسِ عَذاباً يَومَ القيامةِ رجُلٌ قَتلَ نَبيّاً ، أو قَتلَهُ نَبيٌّ ، وإمامُ ضَلالةٍ .3

1275.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The [categories of] people to experience the greatest pain on the Day of Resurrection will be: the man who killed a prophet or was killed by a prophet, the leader of deception.' 4

1276.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : أشَدُّ النّاسِ عُقوبةً رجُلٌ كافَأَ الإحْسانَ بالإساءَةِ .5

1276.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'The person to experience the greatest punishment will be the man who recompenses good done unto him with evil.' 6

1277.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : أشَدُّ النّاسِ عَذاباً يَومَ القيامةِ المُتَسخِّطُ لِقَضاءِ اللَّهِ .7

1277.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'The person to experience the greatest pain on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who was dissatisfied with the decree of Allah.' 8

402. The People with the Least Chastisement

1273.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : أدْنى‏ أهلِ النّارِ عذاباً يَنْتَعِلُ بنَعْلَينِ مِن نارٍ ، يَغْلي دِماغُهُ مِن حَرارَةِ نَعْلَيهِ .1

1273.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The people of the Fire to experience the least pain will be wearing slippers of fire, whilst their brains will be boiling due to the [intensity of the] heat of their slippers.' 2
