TEHRAN (IQNA) - Manuscript copies of the Quran attributed to Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Reza (AS) have been put on display at the Central Library of Astan-e Quds Razavi in Mashhad.

Mohammad Javad Ghavi, head of the public relations and international affairs at the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of the Astan, told IQNA that the manuscripts have been exhibited on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the two infallible Imams at the end of the month of Safar (the second month in the lunar calendar).
A collection of Quran manuscripts and valuable books about the holy prophet (PBUH), Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Reza (AS) has been presented at the scientific-cultural exhibition.
Risalah Dhahabiyyah, Asmaa al-Husna, Tuhfah Al-Zaireen, and Tawhidiyyah sermon as well as Miftah al-Nubuwwah, Majalis al-Usool, Nasikh al-Tawareekh and Haqaiq al-Nabawiyyah and Alawiyyah are among the books displayed at the library.
The library of Imam Reza s (AS) holy shrine with more than 150000 books, both handwritten and lithographed, and more than 3800000 printed books in various fields, is considered as one of the great treasuries of books in the world.
Ghavi said that the exhibition aims to introduce the precious scientific, cultural and religious collections of the library.
It was opened on December 20 and will host visitors until December 26.
The 28th of Safar is the anniversary of the holy prophet s (PBUH) demise and Imam Hassans (AS) martyrdom.
Muslims also commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) on the 30th of the month.
