65. Among The Vices of Gluttony
191.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : لَا تَجْتَمِعُ الفِطْنَةُ وَالبِطْنَةُ .1
191.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Astuteness and gluttony cannot coexist.' 2
192.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : إذَا مُلِئَ البَطْنُ مِنَ المُبَاحِ عَمِيَ القَلْبُ عَنِ الصَّلَاحِ .3
192.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'When the stomach is filled with [even] permissible food, the heart becomes blind to goodness.' 4
193.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : الشِّبَعُ يُفسِدُ الوَرَعَ .5
193.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Overeating spoils piety.' 6
194.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : نِعْمَ عَوْنُ المَعاصِي الشِّبَعُ .7
194.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Overeating is the greatest aid to acts of disobedience.' 8
