Senegalese Welcome Iranian Scholar’s French Translation of Quran

A translation of the Holy Quran in French by an Iranian scholar has been received well in Senegal.

Sayyid Hassan Esmati, Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Senegal told IQNA that the rendering by Abolqassem Fakhri has been distributed in the West African country and received very well.

He described the translation as a great Quranic achievement, adding that its distribution has been among the Iranian Cultural Center’s main activities in terms of Quranic diplomacy.

It took Abolqassem Fakhri more than 20 years to complete the translation of the Quran in French.
