Registration Begins for Al-Mustafa University Quran, Hadith Olympiad

Al-Mustafa International University announced the start of registration of non-Iranian seminary students willing to partake in the university’s 23rd international Quran and Hadith Olympiad.

According to the university’s website, the registration will continue until October 9.

The event will be held in two sections: written and oral.

In the first section, according to Iqna, participants will compete in categories such as Nahj al-Balagha, Quran interpretation and Quranic studies.

The categories of the oral section include Quran recitation (Tahqiq and Tartil), Quran memorization (different levels) and memorization of Nahj al-Balagha.

The Olympiad is aimed at identifying top talents in the field of Quran and Hadith among foreign students of Iran’s seminaries and promoting unity among followers of different Islamic schools of thought.

Al-Mustafa International University is an Iranian academic center with many overseas branches for non-Iranian Muslims who seek to study Islam and related subjects.

The university offers graduate, post-graduate and PhD courses in such fields as Fiqh (jurisprudence), theology, history of Islam and interdisciplinary fields with an Islamic approach.
