رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : يَومُ الجُمُعَةِ يَومُ عِبادَةٍ فَتَعَبَّدُوا اللَّهَ عزّوجلّ فِيهِ . الخصال : 2 / 383 .
The Prophet (SAWA), 'Friday is a worshipping day, so spend it in worshipping Allah the Mighty Sublime.' al-Khisal, v. 2, p. 383
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : يَومُ الجُمُعةِ سَيّدُ الأيّامِ، وأعظَمُ عِند اللَّهِعزّ وجلّ مِن يَومِ الأضْحى ويَومِ الفِطْرِ . بحار الأنوار : 89 / 267 / 5 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Friday is the chief of all days and deemed greater by Allah, the Exalted, than the day of Id al-Adha and the day of Id al-Fitr.' Bihar al-Anwar, v. 89, p. 267, no. 5
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : يا عليُّ ، على النّاسِ كُلَسَبعةِ أيّامٍ الغُسلُ ، فاغْتَسِلْ في كُلِّ جُمُعةٍ ولَو أنّكَ تَشْتري الماءَ بِقُوتِ يَومِكَ وتَطْويهِ، فإنَّهُ ليسَ شَيءٌ مِن التَّطَوُّعِ أعْظَمَ مِنهُ . بحار الأنوار : 81 / 129 / 18 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'O Ali! People must bathe [at least] once every seven days, so bathe every Friday, even if you have to buy the water with [the money set aside for] your provision of that day and go without food, for there is no recommended act of worship greater than it.'
