Nahj al-Balagha translated by Faqihi to Persian unveiled

Bukhara magazine held the program “Nights of Nahj al-Balagha” on Tuesday, where a new translation of this book into Persian by the late scholar Ali Asghar Faqihi was unveiled.

 According to IBNA correspondent, this program was held by Bukhara magazine in collaboration with the Islamic Sciences Publications and Literature Publications. Organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the program was attended by a number of Iranian experts at 5:30 p.m.

‘Nahj al-Balagha’ (Peak of Eloquence) by Imam Ali (AS) was first compiled by Sayyed Sharif Razi who had collected the speeches, precepts, prayers, epistles and aphorisms of Imam Ali, Sayyed Razi was a Shi'a scholar living in the 10th century (4th century AH). The Persian translations of Nahj al-Balagha dates back to some centuries ago.

The book is Known for its eloquent content, and is considered a masterpiece of literature in Shi'a Islam.
