Self-Restraint

He who practices self-restraint, his burden decreases and his worth in Allah s eyes increases.

العِفَّةُ رَأسُ كُلِّ خَيرٍ . ح: 1168

Self-restraint is the root of all good. H: 1168

العِفَّةُ أفضَلُ الفُتُوَّةِ . ح: 529

Self-restraint is the best part of spiritual chivalry (futuwwa). H: 529

مَن عَقَلَ عَفَّ . ح: 7646

العِفَّةُ تُضَعِّفُ الشَّهوَةَ . ح: 2148

ثَمَرَةُ العِفَّةِ الصِّيانَةُ . ح: 4593
