Jealousy

The fruit of jealousy is the misery of this world and the Hereafter.

رأسُ الرَّذائلِ الحَسدُ . ح: 5242

The chief of vices is jealousy. H: 5242

الحَسودُ لا يَسودُ . ح: 1017

The jealous one can never rule. H: 1017

إنّكَ إنْ أحسَنْتَ فنفسَكَ تُكْرِمُ ، وإلَيها تُحْسِنُ ، إنّكَ إنْ أسأتَ فنَفسَكَ تَمْتَهِنُ ، وإيّاها تَغْبِنُ . ح: 3808 - 3809

Truly if you do good, then it is your own soul that you honour and do good to, but if you do wrong, it is your own soul that you degrade and wrong. H: 3808

الحَسدُ شَرُّ الأمْراضِ . ح: 332

Jealousy is the worst disease. H: 332
