Ignorance

Ignorance is the root of every evil.

الجَهلُ أدْوَأُ الدّاءِ . ح: 820

Ignorance is the worst affliction. H: 820

الجَهلُ مُمِيتُ الأحْياءِ ومُخَلِّدُ الشَّقاءِ . ح: 1464

Ignorance is death for the living and perpetuates wretchedness. H: 1464

الجَهلُ أصْلُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ . ح: 819

كفى‏بالمرءِ جَهلاً أنْ‏يَجْهَلَ قَدْرَهُ . ح: 7054
