French Professor Henry Corbin to be commemorated in Tehran

At a ceremony, the Association of Cultural Works and Luminaries in Tehran will commemorate the prominent French philosopher, orientalist and scholar of the Islamic and Iranian studies, the late Professor Henry Corbin.

 

According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of the Association of Cultural Works and Luminaries as a tribute to the efforts and everlasting works of Professor Corbin on the Islamic and Iranian studies, Persian literature as well as the history and doctrine of Shi’ism, the association will hold a ceremony to be attended by scholars and experts.

The program is scheduled to be held at Shahid Motahari Hall of the Association of Cultural Works and Luminaries on Monday at 6 to 8 p.m.
