Iran Exhibits Quran Translations in Tunisia

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Translations of the Holy Quran into different languages were put on display by the Iranian Cultural Center at an exhibition in Tunisia.

 According to the public relations department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Sadeq Ramezani Golafzani, Iranian cultural attaché in Tunisia said the center presented a collection of cultural and art works at the exhibition.

The collection included books, photos, calligraphy, handicrafts, Iranian films and Quran translations.

Some of the works featured three periods of Iranian history, before Islam, after the advent of Islam till the victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran, and since the revolution.

He thanked the Tunisian Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for the organization of the exhibition, which was especially welcomed by the youth.

The Iranian official added that the center sought to introduce the rich Islamic-Iranian civilization through the language of culture and art at the one-day exhibition.

The exhibition of nations’ culture in Tunisia was held on December 14 in the Tunisian capital of Tunis.

Representatives from Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Senegal, Korea and Bulgaria participated in the exhibition.
