The Translations Research Center of Iran’s Allameh Tabatabaee University will organize the scholarly event, Hossein Mollanazar, director of the center said.

He added that the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Tarjoman-e Vahy (translation of the Revelation), Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) University, and the Center for Spreading Islamic Teachings and Humanities will cooperate in holding the conference on December 15-19, IRNA reported.

Underlining the need for scholarly analysis of Quran renderings, Mollanazar said the conference will discuss the translations of the Holy Book in 8 languages, including Persian, English, Spanish, French, Turkish, and Chinese.

The conference also seeks to promote academic ties among Muslim world researchers and scholars in Quranic fields, he went on to say.
