Hujjatulislam Seyed Masoud Mirian said the country’s Quranic institutions and centers will introduce their activities and capabilities at the expo.
He said Quranic and Islamic artworks, books, software products and publications will also be on display at the exhibition.
He added that the exhibition will kick off on May 26, concurrent with the inauguration of the competition.
According to Hujjatulislam Mirian, the expo will welcome visitors every day until June 2 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Iran is set to present the 31st edition of the country’s most important Quranic event, International Quran Competition, in the capital city of Tehran, starting from May 26.
Reciters and memorizers from over 65 countries have signed up to participate in the upcoming competition in Tehran.
Nine committees have been launched to hold the event. They will also manage various activities scheduled for this year’s competition dubbed “Quran and Islamic lifestyle”.
A committee of 15 jurors including 5 Iranian and 10 foreign masters will judge the competition.
The annual competition is held to encourage the public to read the Holy Quran and to act upon the teachings of the Holy Quran.
