Abdul Aziz Al-Daeij, deputy head of the Kuwaiti-based Introduction of Islam Committee, said the copies will be published in languages such as English and French to help non-Muslims get familiar with Islam, Al-Ray daily reported.
He added that the committee will distribute the translations in other countries.
Al-Daeij noted that the plan for handing out renderings of the Quran is also aimed at helping new Muslim converts to learn more about Islam.
He went on to say that the Introduction of Islam Committee has some other plans to introduce the teachings of Islam to non-Muslims.
