Typology of Divine Guidance in the Quran and Hadith
Mohammad Mohammadi Rayshahri
Hidayat (Guidance) means showing the right path toward the destination. It is of frequent words in the Quran and Hadith. Hidayat (which literally means Guidance) is an instruction with grace and positive connotations. It is occasionally used by means of tahakum for something else. God’s Guidance is found in two ways: general and special.God’s General Guidance consists of three branches: natural, rational, and canonical. Each of these branches consists of three sub branches. God’s Specific Guidance is some sort of a reward. It is given to the prophets, their companions, and followers due to their conversion to the right path and acceptance of God’s General Guidance. Their guidance differs in form, but they are meant to represent one goal. It is notable that God’s response to unjust people is also guidance, but guidance to Hell!
Key Words: Divine Guidance, General Guidance, Specific Guidance, Concept Analysis of Guidance, Reward Guidance.

Adaptation, a Manifestation of the Qur'an in Infallible Imams’ Supplication
Ali Khayyat
Muhammad Ali Mahdavi Rad
Infallible Imams’ supplication is a voluminous chapter of their cultural life. Since their bond with the Quran is eternal, no doubt, the Quran - more than any other source – is the source of their ideas and behavior within each act of speech, manner and behavior, including "prayer".
Prayer is a valuable heritage and honorable reserve of fundamental religious teachings, which has been enjoying over the Quran reflecting the ideas of the Qur'an like a mirror, and through a specific literature, speaking with God, retells many of the teachings of the Quran. To prove this claim, one should explore different kinds of this manifestation and motivation of the borrowing. The author of the present paper, mentioning some introductory points, explores some types of these manifestations so that the reader can somewhat get familiar with the motivations and blessings of this borrowing.
Key Words: Adaptation, Hadith Supplication, the Quran in Duas, Literary Figures.

Tradition of Excellence in Usul al-Kafi: Compatible or Incompatible
Hassan Naqi Zadeh
Fatemeh Karami
A group of traditions and revelation hadiths speak of excellence in speech, behavior and worship. These sorts of traditions are abundant in "al-Kafi". Their most important feature is explanation of an advantage in the form of tafdil. Due to this feature, at first glance, it may seem that they are contradictory. This study examines the compatibility or incompatibility of these sayings. The most important finding of the present study indicates that difference between these traditions is of primitive or apparent difference. Reflecting on each of the narratives or exploring the relationships among them, and understanding the audience and other elements will resolve these apparent differences.
Key Words: Tradition of Excellence, Usul al-Kafi, Hadith Dispute, Conflict, Fiqh al-Hadith (Hadith Scholarship).

A Comparative Study of the Treaty of Malik Ashtar in Nahj al-Balaghah, Tuhaf Uqul and Nihayat al-Arab
Hossein Passandideh
The present study seeks to make a comparative study of the text of the treaty in three books and explore the differences between these texts and finally achieve the original text. The study and comparison are noteworthy from two perspectives: first, from a statistical perspective to size scenarios, differences and additions that turned out different scenarios, and identify the places where the texts differ from each other; second, from the perspective of hadith pathology so that potential damages are verified and reported briefly. This comparison showed that the distortion exceeds forty; twenty inserted at least five slips of the pen and about seventy likely dissections. Some other results of this study are as follows: frequent and sometimes very important and prominent additions in Tuhaf Uqul, the relative affinity of Nihayat al-Arab and Nahj al-Balaghah, three different texts in several cases, and special additions for all three. It also can be claimed or at least mentioned that these three books have used different sources.
Key Words: Treaty of Malik Ashtar, Nahj al-Balaghah, Distortion, Fractions, Insertion, Slip of the Pen.

A Content Analysis of the Prayers of the Month of Rajab
Based on Misbah al-Mutahajid of Sheikh Tusi
Zahra Haji Hassani
Mahdi Mehrizi
The major part of the legacy of Shi'a Hadith is composed of "Ad`iyyah Mathurah" and Ziyarat. From early period of hadith compilation, hadith scholars have paid attention to this issue and allocated some books to it. Among these books, Misbah al-Mutahajid of Sheikh Tusi is of high importance. Prayers of the month of Rajab, consisting of the fourteen prayers are also of high importance with respect to "ad`iyyah mathurah".  Using analytical methods, the authors of the present paper make a content analysis of prayers of the month of Rajab based on Misbah al-Mutahajid. Prayer is analyzed based on seven components: 1 - individual and group requests; 2 – time; 3 - the Prophets; 4 – repeated concepts; 5 – salutation; 6 – literature; 7 – verses. Theological concepts are frequent concepts of the prayers. All the prayers have been decorated with blessings and abundant rhetorical figures. Most concepts of prayers have been derived from the verses of the Holy Quran.

Role of Balkh in Shia Hadith Dissemination
Mahdi Gholamali
Balkh is one of the areas where Shia hadith has developed therein for a while. However no independent research has been conducted in this area to review the work of Shia hadith scholars. This area was once part of Greater Khorasan Province, at the present it consists of some provinces in Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. Hadith seminary of Balkh was organized owing to the following reasons: presence of hadith scholars in the region, migration of people of Balkh to other hadith cities of the Shia world, their interest in this area.
Exploring Shia hadith and rijal books, the author of the present paper has found one hundred and one hadith transmitters of Balkh by the end of the fifth century. About fifteen of them have authored dozens of hadith books. Also a lot of indicators of a hadith seminary, such as holding meetings hadith are found in Balkh. This paper is an introduction to analysis and scrutiny of the history of hadith and hadith scholars and researchers.

Functions of "Adjustment" in Exegetical Traditions
Mahdi Rostam Nejad
Words of Infallible Imams - rooted in revelation knowledge - enjoy features such as isharat, maarid, and mahasin. This paper has attempted to show that one of the most effective ways to detect and identify these features is to compare their exegetical hadiths with exegetical quotations of their companions and followers. A comparative look at it, besides the clarification of distinctions between innocent and non-innocent remarks, makes it easy for seekers of truth to judge them, in the balance of reason and science, new horizons is opened before them in understanding the legitimacy and authenticity of Ahlul Bayt. Mentioning some examples, the author of the present paper explains the most important advantages and benefits of this approach. Some of the consequences of this approach are: return to scientific interaction between Islamic schools in the field of hadith and tafsir, enrichment of knowledge and the dissemination of the teachings and sciences of the Prophet’s household, may peace and blessings be upon them.

Sheikh Kulayni’s Narration from Ibn Walid Exceptions in Nawadir al-Hikmah
Mahdi Jalali
Elliyeh Rezadad
Nawadir al-Hikmah, written by Mohammad bin Ahmad bin Yahya Ashari is one of the most reliable and authentic sources of the four Shia reference books. Shia scholars praised the book's goodness, except that it is criticized by Muhammad al-Hasan ibn al-Walid, a critic of the third century, for some of its traditions. He has excluded the traditions of the author of Nawadir al-Hikmah and regarded them not worthy of narration. Najashi has provided a list of these traditions in his book al-Fihrist.Since Nawadir al-Hikmah has been used as a reference by al-Kafi, the present paper extracted accounts Sheikh Kulauni’s tradition from Ibn Walid’s exceptions. Finally, the author provides a statistical analysis of them.

A Critical Review of Theory of Refinement of Authentic Hadith Source from Traditions of Taqiyya
 Hasanali Akhlaqi Amiri
 Dr. Mohammad Hassan Haeri
Taqiyya (Dissimulation) and its related issues have been of special importance over the history of Shia. Various arguments have been done in this regard. Theory of removing traditions of taqiyya from hadith books especially reliable books such as al-Kafi, Manla Yahzarah al-Faqih, Tahdib al-Ahkam, al-Istibsar, Wasail al-Shia and etc. by the Companions and hadith scholars is one of the approaches that traditionally have been attributed to some of the elders since the late owner of Jawahir, according to his defense, it has been highly considered. Since this theory in recent years has been the tendency of some contemporary scholars, in this article we will review it with some objections to this theory and achieve this result that in the valid narrative books of Shia Hadith there are traditions of taqiyya and the jurisprudent should infer them for issuance as to the validity of the analysis.
Key Words: Traditions of Taqiyya, Refinement of Hadith, Reliable Sources.
